Just wanted to start a separate thread here for Wharton. The H/S/W thread is all HBS all the time, so figured it would be easier to follow if we had one dedicated to Wharton since interview invites supposedly begin coming out tomorrow. Good luck everyone!

So tomorrow is the big day!?!  How many interviews does Wharton release per day?? Any specific order in reference to different profile groups? Good luck to everyone!!

Wharton releases invites almost daily, and will do so till the deadline.  So if you are not invited tomorrow, don't worry,  you still have about 20 days stress over it.

yeah last year I got an invite on the last day of round 3. I ended up being the last person interviewed basically.

how do you know they will start tomorrow?  I do know that the last date is Nov 12 for mid-decision.

Wharton is truly a great place! I visited for a week in late August to help my brother move into his dorm for Wharton undergrad. There seems to be a very nice dynamic and everyone is very friendly. UPenn has an enormous campus with ALOT going on. There are two main business buildings and they are shared by undergrad and MBAs. I had a great experience and you can rest assured that its a place where you can thrive. I can't wait for the invites!

wow, it is great to hear such glowing feedback. I spent a semester at Stern as part of my MSc degree and just absolutely loved NYC. that experience has probably made be a little biased towards the new york schools, although there is no doubt that Wharton offers the better mba program.

did you get a chance to explore the city at all? how would you compare it to london or new york? all of my previous education has been in london and new york, and i really dont know what to expect from a campus university in a smaller town.

i cant wait either... good luck and keep us posted.

an unrelated question: did you fill out the fellowship part of the application and do you know whether admission and fellowship decisions will be released together?

cheers
