Haas EWMBA R1 2009 - Part-time MBA Programs - BW Business Schools- BusinessWeek

I wonder how soon we can expect interviews to be scheduled. I'm also curious about how the number of applicants for the part-time program this year will compare to last year due to the economy (I know full-time programs get a lot more applicants due to unemployment). I also read that a few people were deferred from last year.

Does anyone have any additional insight on the statistics waiver exam? Difficulty, etc, etc.

Hi

I also submitted by Haas EWMBA application for Round 1 on 1st November.
I attended a session at Berkeley , the coordinator Molly said that she will post the details of number of applicants for Fall 2009 program by october or so. I havent checked this on their website lately.

Waiver exam shouldnt be too difficult. It's a two hour exam with some basic statistics stuff. They give normally the material and syllabus of exam.

Number of applicants for EW program as per that session dropped a bit due to recession , but not significantly I suppose, after all the program is really awesome.

I guess they send interview invites from beginning december or so, and final results from mid january i suppose.

Final decisions for R1 will be announced on 5th Feb 2010.

They don't release a decision before the official date.

When I attended the session, the coordinator specifically said, they release all decisions by 5th Feb, so they do i start releasing from couple of weeks prior i guess , anyways , its a long wait :)
