Was wondering if anyone already had the on-campus interview with Tepper and has any advice? I won't be able to attend the day long tour, class visit etc.. until after the interview... I hope that won't count against me...

I think that should be okay. They understand that not everyone can visit and there is a lot of online material. So dont worry about it too much

I know it's not the advice you want to hear, but make sure you have a good soundtrack playing. I-80 is desolate and boring in PA. Oh, and stop at a Sheetz on your way there or back. Thank me later.

Mine's Monday the 16th... I'm driving from Virginia... Are you attending the information session, campus tour and class visit?

See below for last year's statistics:

Applications (admitted and denied) to the newest class: 1523
Applicants (admitted and denied) who were interviewed: 65%
Applicants who were accepted to the most recent class: 27%
Admitted applicants who enrolled in the newest class: 52%

Tepper interviewed 100% of the admitted applicants last year. Best of luck!

Just a general question for on/off campus interview.  Do you pick someone who recently graduated (1-2 year)or someone who graduated a while ago (5+ years)?

I am thinking that someone who graduated a while ago, someone who is director or something would be more difficult to deal with than a current student.

Also, would you pick someone you already know?
My situation is that I met an aluma during an information session, I am pretty sure she remembers me.  And she's one of the choices of the interview.

Thanks
