CohortX (http://cohortx.com) is pleased to announce a monthly scholarship award program for MBA applicants. Applications can be submitted by any MBA applicant, who is at least junior in college. Scholarship application consists of some basic applicant information and a 200-word essay. Essay question will be different every month.

Award: $500 Cash
    

In order to compete in CohortX Scholarship program, participation is required in the following two phases:

1. Submission Period: Fill out the application form in its entirety during the application submission period.
2. Voting Period : Upon successful submission of application, each applicant is given 5 votes. The applicant must submit all 5 votes to his/her favorite essays during the voting period.

Only applicants and select members of the community are eligible to vote. U.S. and International candidates may apply for this award.

How is the winner selected?

Hi haas2ndrd,

After the essay submission period is over, all essays are published for voting. Votes by the community members determine the winner.

Vote counts are not show and the display order is completely random until the month's competition is over.

This not an effort to scam - merely an effort to help build a much needed community.

We are trying to create some buzz and participation by offering awards like this every month.

While $500 award  is not much but it a good chunk of change that you can use for almost anything - pay for your GMAT or cover applicant fee for a few business schools! We invite every applicant to submit a short 200 essay to participate in this competition.
