Satisfying the judges’ criteria of innovation, adaptation to the UAE market, overall performance, investment in people and contributions to the UAE economy, Bayt.com staved off competition from a number of other local and regional companies, emerging the clear winner in the ‘’Company of the Year’’ category.

Among the facets of the company that the judges looked at was the fact that Bayt.com offers a tri-lingual job matching service to Middle East employers and job seekers seeking employment in the Middle East, and that it augmented its technologies in 2008 to offer a significantly more sophisticated and effective level of service, via the pioneering and industry-leading proprietary InstantMatch Search tool.

In terms of innovation, the judges were impressed by Bayt.com’s unique and groundbreaking Virtual Job Fair (VJF) series across the Middle East - a series of highly respected and well attended job fairs conducted entirely online. Employers, who were given fully branded ‘virtual booths’ reduced their costs by 50% compared to a physical fair, and each participating company could measure their success with Bayt.com’s advanced and accurate reporting tools. Job seekers meanwhile had easy access to thousands of jobs, the option to interact in real-time with potential employers and could access the job fair from the comfort of their desk - saving the significant time and costs associated with visiting a physical job fair.
