The Case Against Centralized Health Care (2009-09-14)

Many Americans think centralized planning could fix U.S. health care. They believe industry greed and profits are at the root of the problems. And they believe that altruistic commonsense reforms would result in lower costs, better management, less waste and universal coverage. They are dangerously wrong.

The real issue is how to get the corruption out of the healthcare industry so that the goal of having everyone have access to healthcare can be reached. The minute someone uses the word centralized, everyone in America reacts. Isn't it much more concerning that we have the means to eliminate much of the sickness of the masses and we all get hung up the minute "centralized" is proposed.

It's obvious that everyone benefits when people are no longer sick and get access to immediate treatment.
