This list lost all credibility not having Favre on it.  I admit that I do not know many on the list but not having Favre makes me not care because the criteria is that of the authors only, which must be just silly.

Favre is the ONLY figure in sports that is universally liked by teammates and opponents.  That makes him first.  The list is meaningless without him.  The NFL as a sport has little validity after guys like Vick and the other criminals and drug users that hide out there continue to ruin it.  Favre has friends of mine who are die hard Cowboys fans smiling and saying what a class act the man has always been.  None of them say anything good about Owens or Michael Irvin.  Putting business people on the list confuses power with money.  Who cares who owns a team, runs a network, or stars in a sport that only one percent of Americans watch?  Tennis, cycling, women's anything?  Give me a break.  Baseball?  Barry Bonds?  Please. Favre leads the entire sport in class.  Bonds leads the entire sport, (if you can still call standing still  while holding a stick a sport,) in arrogance, and team distractions.  His own teammates hate his guts.  Favre's teammates love the guy.
