I just cannot believe that the Bernie Ecclestone would be raked as number 57!  Given the money and worldwide exposure of Formula 1, not to mention the sport's growth, revenue and totalitarian rule by Mr. Ecclestone, I would have guessed that he would be at the very top of the list.

 

I can only guess that the entire “panel of experts” was from the US, completely unaware of Formula 1, and generally really missing a global perspective that the Business Week usually exhibits. Too bad to get it so wrong. 

 

Imagine a Power 100 list of... let’s say internet power companies that lists Google as number 57? ridiculous!
