I noticed that Yao Ming is on the list, presumably because of the massive NBA presence and influence he brings to his home country of China. Similarly, I'm wondering why Ichiro Suzuki was not included. As the first (and arguably the most) successful position player from Japan in Major Leage Baseball, he holds a huge influence over how popular MLB is in Japan.
