I find it extremely difficult to believe that Oscar De La Hoya does not rank in the top 100. Does he not have his own promotions company which stands as one of if not the most lucrative in all of boxing and hauls in cash in volumes second only to Tiger Woods among athletes? Surely he warrents at least a mention.  (and how is Anucha Brown Sanders not here somewhere?)

Rick Hendrick isn't inflfuential in sports enough to make the top 100?  two of his drivers for next year made the list. He only runs the most dominant team in NASCAR.  Where's the love?
