My suggestion is to not get into a knot if a few interview invites go out before the bulk go out. INSEAD has traditionally called a few people way before the deadline. However, 99% of the invites will go out on the deadline. It's just the way it is, and doesn't mean anything with regards to the strength of your candidacy. Best of luck to all of you!

anyone knows wheter   are they going to actually "call" candidates selected for interviews or  are they sending out emails?


...I don't know exactly why but to wait for a call make me much more nervous......

The interview selection will be via mail. The acceptance notification is usually by call unless they don't get through to you in which case they'll send a mail anyway to all admits.

Hail oh mighty knolwedgable OMJ... (BTW - thx for the interview FAQs, gave me a way to pass time till we get the answers, plus they are very helpful).

While we're at it, maybe you (or someone else of course), could say if those who heard early was because they are good or rather that they submitted early their application, or maybe even just pure and plain luck.

And going one step further, of those, how many got in???

If my boss knew about this application and how it effected my productivity he'd personally go to Fonty to give me an answer so I could go back to work (probably he'd opt for a negative one....)

I think reasons for those who hear early is a combination of all the reasons you quoted. To make matters more confusing, those who get the early interview call don't necessarily hear the final decision earlier. Most (if not all) of the "early-birds" from the 10D' class heard their final decision on the last day. There were one or two who didn't make it in the end. Hence, I wouldn't read too much into this whole early-interview call thing. If anything, you're in for a longer wait than others for the final decision, which in my opinion is worse than waiting for the interview call. You'll see soon.

Did anyone get an interview call yet ?

Is there an online application status tool for INSEAD or do we just wait for email updates? I am waiting to hear back from them as well. All I received so far was the application complete email.
